This is the dreamy little bunch that we have been so blessed with...At long last, a dream come true. Vinn's babies were born on Wednesday, 5/14/08. There is a beautiful little red and white girl, and three precious little boys. A bicolor... Lavender and white, a Van, and a mystery boy. I canot at this point, be certain on the color of this "mystery boy". Could be white...could be pointed...could be a mink! Isn't this just fun? Please give me all your thoughts on colors.
Vinn is adjusting to the mommy role very well. She is perfect with her babies and is very attentive to their every need...and want! She does prefer that I am there to assist her and protests me leaving her side. All babies are plump and precious.
The birthing process went very smoothly and was uneventful...that is after, little Miss Red presented herself tail first, and succesfully managed to squeeze her tiny little toes, and everything else attached to them, out.
Thanks to the friends, Mentors, and fellow Breeders, that made themselves readilly available during the entire process. For a new breeder and kitten mommy, your experiance and wisdom is highly valued.
These three...so similar, yet so different....have at last, come to respect and understand one another for who each one is as an individual. Thus....they are friends. Is this not the same requirement that is needed among us, as human beings, to develope true and lasting friendships? We may enjoy the company and friendship of some, and not love all of the things about them. There may even be much that we don't know about those whom we call our "frineds". A true friend adds so much to the meaning of ones life....so much, that at times, it may be possible to take those friendships for granted. I would ask that each one of us, take a moment to think deepley about the friendships that we are so blessed to have. I am sure that you will agree that they hold much higher value then any tangible item you may possess. Think about what you would do for a dear friend and what they would and have done for you. Also, embrace the idea of gathering new friends...ones that have similar interests, dreams and values. You may encounter the most meaningful realtionships of your life. Remember too...treat others as you WANT to be treated, NOT as others have treated you.
